Magic Monday

this weekend we went away, me and my husband. we went to a sweet bed and breakfast out in the woods a  few hours north of our island. we were gloriously lost for a bit and saw some magic forests and sunrays sweeping over moss. but we arrived lastly to this cute house from the 1700´s that a couple from holland restored over the last 4 years. they could have just broken the house down and build a brand new one, but i am so happy that they didn´t. they restored this beautiful house with all natural materials and they worked so very hard to make it magic. 

this is the house to the right of the living house that held a antique store also run by the couple. 

this was the perfect spot for us to spend our afternoon. we sat and talked for hours and enjoyed the sunshine. we were served a lovely soup lunch right there on the deck. we could choose from about ten different seating areas around the garden. but this was the perfect spot. 

the tomato soup was magic.

we sat and read books. we sat and listened to nothing else but birds chirping. 

the inside of the house was simple and rustic.

the owners also live in the house and they serve ecological homgrown and/or local food.

we had a magical time. just what we needed.

Take Twelve | April - the photos

here are my photos from April 12th. I did one photo ever hour from 8am. i will be back in a couple of days with my layout!

i am just checking in to do a random post. i know i was going to share some things this week, but i came down with a fever, yet again :/

but i am taking my 12 photos for Take Twelve april today! i am actually doing the september bonus idea (that you can find in the Take Twelve Guided Inspiration Kit) to take one photo every hour. so i started at 8 am and as of now i have 3 photos to go. 

i have used both my big camera and my cell phone today. 

i am also preparing for a weekend get away with my husband! yay! we are both looking forward to this sooo much. we are celebrating 10 years of marriage on april 27th, so this is our celebration! we are going to a secluded bed and breakfast just to relax and eat good food.

Take Twelve| reminder!

Tomorrow is April 12th and that means (among other things) that it is time to have your camera at arms reach all day for this months Take Twelve challenge!

Project Life | week 14

my week 14 share is a bit later than usual, but i was out of town most of the week so i had to finish up on monday!

and since i was out of town i did most of the cards digitally. 

i used a lot of Ali Edwards digital stamps that she sells at designerdigitals. my daughter had a new friends over and they had such a great time i wanted to capture that. and yes, i am that mom that takes out the camera when she has friends over ;)

wednesday i went to the dentist twice in one day :/  funny though, while i was laying there and they were doing their thing, i was thinking about how i could snap a photo of the dentist chair :)

i did when the dentist left the room for a second :)

my husband totally suprised me and took photos of his workspace AND posed for a self portrait :) i love him!

thursday i took the bus to gothenburg to spend the weekend with my mom, grandfather and sisters family. we painted eggs, nails and all sorts of cool stuff. 

the 3 first cards are from my stay, including the easter dinner and the hilarious photo i took when my nephew was on the computer, as was my niece and my other niece on the ipad :) 

the computerized generation indeed! 

that is my 14th week of project life!

i am here!

i have been out of town most of the week that just went by. but i am here again and will be sharing my PL week 14 and a few other things this week. stay tuned. in the meantime, here are a few photos from my week!

WCS Mother´s day week

if you have missed this week, you should totally go back and see all the Mother´s day preperations that has been shared by the ladies at write click scrapbook! 

today two of my layouts are featured among many others. 

in 2008 i asked my daughter to fill out a quiz about me on Mother´s day. i love that i have her handwriting saved!

now 4 years later i did the same thing and now i have her 12 year old handwriting saved as well!

for the last layout i have made an english version of the quiz that you can download here! a tip: just print the download out and add your photo when your child has written his/her answers! easy peasy!
