Take Twelve | December page

May I present the very last Take Twelve pages!

I have made mostly double pages for this project and I thought I would go out with a bang and made 2 landscape 8.5"x11" pages.

I used my photo mosaics I shared in my other post and printed them out just as. Then I mounted them on the white cardstock.

Simple as that!

Thank you Ella Publishing for having me as a member of the Take Twelve Team for 2012! It has been so much fun!

Take Twelve | December the photos

Here are the photos I took on the last 12th day of a month in 2012. 

I took these 6 photos with my DSLR.

And these 6 with my iPhone.  

I wanted to have mixed photos. Since I have done the Take Twelve challenge with both cameras throughout the year. 

It was fun to see all the fun 12.12.12 photos around the internet!

I will be back this weekend with the layout I will make with these photos!

Today is the 12 day on the 12th month in the year 2012.

Which ofcourse means alot of things, For me it means taking my Take Twelve photos for Ella Publishing photo challenge. This has been such a cool experience and I love looking in my Take Twelve album.

Take Twelve | November ~ the page

On November 12th I found myself superbusy! So, I chose to use my Instagram photos from the 10th and 11th. They are from a weekend in Gothenburg with my husband. Walks, dogbellies, handholding and other feelgood stuff.

Here is my Take Tweleve spread. 

I resized my Instagram photos to 5x5 cm and made a collage in Word. I also added the title (Take 12 november) before printing the page out. I then added embellishments and made the second page. 

I dug in my scraps for all the embellishments. 

Can you believe this is the second to last time we do this?!!

Next time is 12-12-12 :)

Take Twelve | October photos

I did something different for my Take Twelve photos this month.

Since I got my iPhone a few weeks ago, I have used Instagram a ton.  And I have been taking alot of fall photos which goes along with the "change" theme in the Inspiration kit. 

I gathered up 12 of the autumn photos I wanted to use and made a 9 photo mosaic on picmonkey.com printed it and then added 3 more photos. 

I am looking forward to work on my 10th Take Twelve layout this weekend! And don´t forget to link up your visual to the Ella publishing blog by October 18th to enter the awesome giveaway from A flair for buttons!

since it was a tough week for me, i decided to print out the mosaic i did with the photos and used that. i usually make some kind of list for the photos, but i just jotted down why i looked for happy things that day this time.

i spend my day looking for things that made me happy. my grandfather passed away unexpectedly this week so i needed things to pick me up. 

i can´t wait until i come home on sunday to scrap the page!

Take Tweleve | what i love about it!

when Angie Lucas & Elizabeth Dillow asked me if i wanted to be on the Take Twelve designer team i had actually already decided to do the challenge!

i thought it sounded like a project that was easy enough for me to stick with for the year. 

and now 8 months into it i do really enjoy it! if you read my blog on a regular basis, you know that i am very much an everyday scrapbooker. i always try to catch stories from our normal life. 

and this project is just that. snippets of everyday life on the 12th of every month for an entire year. i have the 12th marked on my google calendar and it sends me an email on the 11th so that i am prepared the day after. it has been so good to have a kick in the butt to actually record a day, ordinary or out of, every month. 

i see it as a compliment to my Project Life albums and my regular scrapbook albums. this projects just goes in a little bit closer on one specific day that otherwise might just be mentioned in my PL album and perhaps not even scrapped at all in layout form.

to Ella, thank you for the kick in the butt!

Take Twelve | August - the page

i took photos of all the technology we used on that day. and i already saw this layout in my head. i actually made 3 mosaics on picmonkey and printed them out. that was an easy way to make sure the squares are evenly large. 

i used black and white for this layout. i wasn´t at first, but then when i had attached the photos it was just the way to go. 

i can´t believe that this is the 8th month of doing this project!

Take Twelve | August - the photos

i took photos of all the technical things i used during the day. 

i especially love the fact that i used both my computer and my typewriter :)
