i know that i promised some new scrapbooking layouts for yesterday. but sadly i haven´t had the time to make any :(

between work and my new course at the unicversity i am beat.

but today we had a birthday party for me and my husbands families and that was a nice break.

i have also been working really hard on my very very first hosting week on the Write.Click.Scrapbook blog that will take place next week, starting on monday! gulp! i am beyond excited! i hope that you all will join me over there for some fun scrapbooking tips! and it is also my brithday week (tuesday is the day!) so i hope that it will bring more energy to my life!

i´ll be back tomorrow though with this weeks the simple things!

i liked our theme this week, didn´t you? i love viewing the world by raising my eyes a bit. i have mentioned here on the blog a few times before and it still hits me everytime. when you look a bit higher than you usually do, you can see remarkable things.

i also love to see your photos in the flickr pool! they are awesome! we have had 20 photos on the theme this week (i am writing this in the morning of the 17th)!

i would love to know your thoughts on doing with your photos at the end of this journey? a photobook? a mini scrapbook? what?

finally a scrapbooking post!

i really do want to have more scrapbooking on this blog! and as my one little word for the year is CHOICE i will choose to have more scrapbooking on the blog from now! and i will begin right away!

my neices turned 3 in January. I can´t believe that! they were just born! anyway, i love kraft cardstock like so much :) i love how everything pops when you have that neutral background.

in our house if you have the stomach flu you are isolated to the livingroom so that not everyone catch it. but after a few days we begin to miss eachother. then this happens :) this time it was me who was in there and these sillies was on the outside!

it´s hard to see here, but the hearts are not glued all the way down, but a few of them are cringed to create a little texture and 3d.

ok, so that was a good start no? i´ll be back on friday with more scrapbooking (my love!)

virtual coffee ~ love edition

i know that love day was technically yesterday, but i still want todays virtual coffee to be about love. so, if we were to meet for real today i would tell you that i love...

...us. i really do. i love that we are the people that belong together. that we are a family. that we have ups and downs. i love that we have so much fun together.



...the color yellow. i love that it screams for my attention everywhere these days. maybe it is because it is such a cheerful color?!

...the fact that my daughter takes awesome photos! i absolutely adore looking through the memory card when she has borrowed my camera. i love her angles and perspective. i love that we share this love together!

...sally. i love that silly, silly cat! i love that she becomes snugglier every day. i love all her little quirks that makes her well, her.

...photography. i really do. it brings me so much joy and happiness that it is hard to even explain. i love to see photos also. i love having them around me. around the house.

...our little island. i love our spot on earth. even though it is cold. even though we have to wait for the ferry. i love our little island.

...my other peeps. i love that we are loud when we get together. i love that we are many and have as many memories togther. i love that in-laws and exxes are welcome.

music and quiet.

and many, many more things.

if we were to meet for real today, i would tell you that today, i choose love...

the simple things #14

i love this photo! i know it is a horrible photo technically, but i love it still. i love that she wanted to be with me the whole day. i love that it took like 2 seconds to reconnect. i love that she found comfort in my lap. i love her.
