Happy Thanksgiving!

after my awesome US experience last year when i celebrated thanksgiving for the first time, i had an itch to do something this year too. although we don´t normally celebrate thanksgiving in sweden, we are having a little gathering tonight. dinner, candles and carrotcake for dessert.

the one with facebook and pinterest

i have made layouts using screenshots before (here) and i think it is a fun way to incorporate where we go online these days. the internet and our computers are such a big part of us in this day of age.

so, i printed my screenshot and worked around it just like i would any other photo. on this layout, i hid the journaling behind the photo, but i talk about what facebook is to me.

and since i am quite obsessed with pinterest i needed to make one featuring it too :)

amy tangerine made a layout with the words we wouldn´t know without the internet (like etsy and tumblr) and i might do one of those too.

from pin to reality

i have seen these signs floating around the internet for a good while now and i had wanted to do one a long time ago. but i didn´t really know how i wanted to do it.

i decided to take one of the sea wood planks i have found on the beach forever ago and use my metal letter stamps to write our "rules".

can i say that i am in love with this piece of wood right here!

it fits in perefectly,much better than a larger sign would.

the one with stitches and dogs

i love that my sewing machine is right there on my table so i can easily use it! on this page i made kind of a quilt of patterned papers to coordinate with the lovely granny squares that are in the photo.

the blanket is my sister in laws and we got to borrow it during a visit with her a few weekends ago.

i am confused that the layout looks crocked here since i can swear everything is straight in real life :/

i used my typewriter for my journaling.

one of my nieces really loves our dogs. she especially likes to walk themon leaches :) she was so happy that we had an outdoor birthday party for my daughter, as she could walk the dogs as much as she wanted :)

yep, the sewing machine was out for this one too!

i am shooting a wedding, catching up on scrapbooking, tending to my sick daughter and planning for a thanksgiving dinner.
