sick day is art day...right?

my daughter came down with a fever yesterday and today she is in full bloom cold. we are having a sick day and i think that sick days should be all about pampering and spoiling, because that is what you want while you are sick, right?! she is doing ok, and as a fun thing we went outside for a few minutes to decorate our strip of the street. here are a few of our creations :)

crappy weather, but happy mood :)

the story: i made up a little list of thing i would do or think that other people should be doing if it was up to me. here is the journaling:

if it were up to me there would be no poverty...noboby would starve...everybody would have 10 weeks of vacation...chocolate would be healthy...sleeping in would be written in the law...handymen would not be so expensive...siesta would be introduced...everyone would have the morals to not fool others...more people would learn to appriciate a bike ride through the forest...everyone would be able to take their pet to work...music would be played magicly at the exact right moment...my daughter would have a sibling...we all would hug more often...letters, handwritten letters would be written more often...politicians would be honest...jeans would not be that expensive...the scent of liliacs, rain and newly cut grass would be bottled up...travelling to paris would be cheap...we would priorities family even more...agatha christie would have gotten the nobel price of litteratur...

some weekend projects.

i have spend most of my weekend outside in our summery weather :) but while tanning i decided to make some name plates for our plants in our kitchen garden. a super simple 5 minute craft!






and this i made in like 2 hours. another crochet clutch bag :)




and i really wanted to share a photo of my rhubarbs :) they are gigantic! i put a little leaf from our apple tree there so you can see the difference!

yup, i am laying outside and have for the past 2 days :) this is heaven...

sooo tired

maybe it is the weather changes over here, but i am dead tired. so i will just share the layouts and be back with info tomorrow :)
