virtual coffee - last of the year edition

welcome to the last virtual coffe of this year! if we were to meet for coffee today i would start with a question that i ask myself all the time;

can you believe that 2010 is over in just a couple of days?! this year must have been the fastest to go by in history! especially these last few months has flown by so fast that it is almost scary.

if we were to meet for coffee today, i would tell you that i am so sad that my daughter told me that she didn´t feel like it was christmas the day before christmas. it makes me sad as i know the feeling exactly. growing up i remember the days around christmas always were filled with magic and excitement. and then suddenly one year it wasn´t there...isn´t it strange. i am so sad that she is there already. although i am very happy to say that she had a very good time during christmas day :)

if we were to meet today for coffee i would tell you that we had a wonderful christmas. we ate good food and laughed alot which it really all i need :) we also had an exeptional amount of presents under the tree which were so much fun to open!

if we were to meet for coffee today i would tell you that i am so ready for a few new projects for the new year. i have been thinking about a few new photo projects and i am pondering on some other ones too.

if we were to meet for coffee today i would tell you that i am so grateful for this past year. i have been invited to so many cool places, both online and in real life. i will make a few end of the year posts in the next couple of days to further explain this :)

if we were to meet for coffee today i would tell, before we part until next year, that i will most likely call my doctors office today to get an appointment because i am having problems with my breast again. i am also dead tired all the time again which indicates that something is wrong. we hope for the best! and that is what i hope for you also!

a pink re-visit

i wanted to give you a bit of an update on my friend Linda that you all could read about during octobers pink ribbon month. she is doing much worse i´m afraid and just had some very bad news today as her cancer-monsters have spread to her brain aswell. she is happy that she gets to spend christmas at home with her beloved family, but she has had a very rough time these last months. my thoughts are with her so many times every day and especially during times like this as the biggest family holiday is coming up. please keep Linda and her family in your thoughts while you hug your loved ones! i know i will.

hi! i am so happy that you stopped by today! I always enjoy having coffee with you! did you have a good week? is your life crazy busy now that Christmas is coming so fast?!

we have tried to slow down a bit this year. my husband have been on-call for 2 weeks now and is rarely home more than a few hours. last night though he slept in his bed the whole night! pure bliss! as we know the snow is not stopping to fall, so he will be away much of the Christmas days too.

our tree is all decorated and we all enjoy to have it lit at night. and as always i think our tree is the most beautiful :) this year we are hosting Christmas at home, so we are prepping for a company of 8! it is going to be sooo nice to not go anywhere over the holidays! my daughter spends every second Christmas with me and the other with her father. this year she decided that, as she was home, she didn´t want to go anywhere else! we usually travel to family out of town, so that is why we are so happy to just be home ♥

we are slowly finishing the final touches around the house. the gingerbread house is on the program today. it sits and waits decorations on the diningroom table.

we have had snow and cold weather for about a month now and we love it! the world is so much slower and not as noisy with snow everywhere. and Dixon loves playing in the snow, he usually stops every 3 meters and roll around on the ground for a bit while we are taking walks :) slow walks i may add!

holiday door wreath -diy

yesterday, i sat with my family infront of the tv and made a few felt flowers to pimp up my door wreath :)

i had seen this tutorial and thought i´d give it a try and i am glad i did because itwas supereasy and i love how it turned out!
