Gratitude Journal 2013 part 1

I wanted to make a gratitude journal this year. I have done a few through the years and even though we don´t celebrate Thanksgiving, I think November is a perfect month to set aside and really focus on the things we are grateful for. 

And just when I was thinking of how I wanted to put it together Shanna Noel posted on her Instagram that she had something sweet up her sleave that would include free printables and a lovely take on gratitude and how we can document it. Please go to her blog and see more!

I had pinned a free printable months ago.

These are meant to be used as table numbers for a wedding, but as they printed a perfect 3 cards next to eachother, I decided we will use this as a family gratitude journal. We are three and this way we can all write down our thankfuls each day of the month and have them all next to eachother!

So I cut the sheets to size and just made a simple brad binding.

Then I simply decorated my cover with Shannas printables. I love the colors! And I can´t wait to start filling this out come November!

30 days of gratitude day 12+13+14 & simple things

day 12: today i am thankful for friday afternoons when i get to go home from work at lunch.

day 13: today i am thankful for accomplishing a few projects around the house.

day 14: today i am thankful for the fact that we are able to have pets. we live in the country and the cats can come and go as they want. and i am thankful for them letting me pet their soft fur on their bellies :)

i love that we got snow this past week, and even though it has melted by now it was a first taste of what winter can be like!

30 days of gratitude day 6+7+8

day 6: today i am thankful for the time i had alone. i need my alone time!

day 7: today i am thankful for new tricks with my camera :)



i know it is not perfect, but dude i made some heart bokeh!

day 8: today i am grateful for my silly family that makes my heart ache with happiness ♥

day 4: today i am thankful for the sunshine we got, it was still cold and windy, but that sunshine made my day all better!

day 5: i am thankful for lazy friday mornings before work.

today i am grateful that i live in a country where we have weather changes and seasons. even though it is raining today.

30 days of gratitude day 1 and 2

i stopped by scarlet namvongs and she was encouraging people to join her in a 30 days of gratitude project. i thought i would.

i am thankful for my friendship with my husband. it is really nice to live with your best friend :)

day 2 of 30 days of gratitude:

i am so thankful for the time i got to spend with a 2 year old at work today. we had such a nice conversation!
