Project Life 2013 | Storage

I posted this above photo on Instagram a few days ago and got a few questions about it ;) The weather was great and I really wanted to sit outside, so I rolled out my Råskog IKEA cart to the outside furniture and went to town! This is part of why I decided to buy one of these to make it easy to move my crafting into the livingroom or somewhere else. The other part was to free up some space on my desk.

The stuff I keep on my cart is my go-to things that I usally keep on my desk at all time. On the top I have different tools like sissors, tape/adhesive, stapler, punches and pens. I also keep the stamps I use most here. My washi tapes hangs from the edge of the cart in a plastic container.

The middle shelf holds smaller size letterstickers, my date stamp, bling and some of basic cards.

The lower shelf holds my scraps basket.

And there you have it!

Project Life 2013 | Week 23

Week 23

I used the digital version of Blush edition journaling cards for my everyday journaling this week. I don´t always write something for each day, but it´s fun occasionally.
We had another week of great sommer weather, so we spend most of our time outside.

We picked our first sallads out of the garden. Yay! I journaled onto my printed photo with a Sharpie.

We took this photo on the highway driving home from the hospital. My dad had medical problems again and I wanted a subtle way of showing it in my PL album.

First I had planned to journal onto the 4x6 sized photo, but changed my mind. So instead of printing the photo again in a different size I layed I journaling card ontop of half of it.

Beans were harvested, magic happened, trampoline sleepovers were had and princess weddings watched all in the few last days of the week ;) Oh, and 2 of my sisters horses had their babies!

I am loving the ability to print two photos on the same card lately! Just print and embellish!

Plant markers

I made these plant markers a few weeks ago and thought I´d share them here.

I printed out cards from the Project Life digital version of the Seafoam kit. There are so many yummy colors and patterns in those kits!

I cut them out and ran them through the laminating machine to make them water resistant.

Wrote the names with a water resistant marker.

And added sticks to the back with my hot glue gun. I love that thing!

Tada!

I bet these could be a cute thing to stick in a flower pot as a hostess gift or something like that!

Re-Scrap 2013 | June inspiration pages

It´s that time again, to show you which pages I will be inspired by to make three new scrapbook pages from!
I call this Project Re-Scrap and I have done 3 new layouts inspired by older ones since January of 2012!
Normally I use my own old pages as inspiration, but this month I will use 3 pages from fellow WCS teammebers, since our June gallery theme is to take inspiration from something posted during this past year.
Christine Newman

I love the fact of having big titles on photos like Christine did here!

Celeste Smith

Celeste´s style is one that inspires me. I love the journaling strips that I haven´t done in a while!
Christa Paustenbaugh

Christa Always does great pages! I love this two page spread and maybe I´ll do a two-pager of my own?!

Let´s get going!

Project Life | Week 22

Week 22
This week marks my 74th week documenting our lifes through Project Life! Yay!

No inserts yet this week. I will have one with more photos from the weekend since my sister got married and baptised her son! Yes, big weekend!

We worked alot in the garden this week and it shows! We love sitting outside in the evening sun just relaxing.
I included a random photo my dad texted me of him and his cat ;)
The tomatoe plants are thriving and I printed one of the MS awareness day printables.

For now I have the two last pockets for the weekend. as I mentioned before I will have more photos in an insert as soon as I have finished editing the wedding pictures.
A good week. A good week indeed!
