sun & guerilla art & e

ah, the sun was out today! it was fantastic! but i worked inside all day :( so i didn´t get to photograph in the sunshine. i found a few older ones and a few around flickr and made a little mosaic of sunshine :) it makes me happy!

# 3 on my list was to do some more guerilla art . i have done this before, but it was so much fun i wanted to do it again.



i printed out some happy thoughts on strips of paper and folded the strips.
i have the strips in my wallet and from time to time i am urged to put a paper strip somewhere public for someone to find...





i would love to be able to see who finds it like hulaseventy did. i am surely going out and do lots of these in one day! and maybe even wait until someone finds a note :)
i have an idea to do some guerilla art in the forest somehow...but i don´t want to litter or otherwise distroy the enviroment...i´ll have to think about it some more :)

blue & scrapping shares

mindi took photos of anything blue the other day and it trigged me to do the same. here is what i found around the house.

i have a few new scrapbooking shares for you :)



the story: my daughter is taking riding lessons and they allow the kids to be around in the stables for a while before the lessons. this is a very happy thing for her! she loves to be there (although she was thrown off last time yikes!). last time we took a picnik with us and had such a lovely time.

the goods: i wanted to use "white space" on this one, so i printed the photos alittle smaller than i usually do. and, people, i am so bad at adding those little details nowadays! it makes me so frustrated! it doesn´t come naturally for me anymore! why is that? anyway i am in love with anything scalloped these days so i used a mini one here :)



the story: i wanted to make something using my "word" for the year; play.

the goods: i had to use carina gardners digi kit calender cards i bought at 2peas. i love these cards! this page didn´t come out anything like i was planning :) i wanted to use the map for some reason, but i think that this makes the page look "2 paged" like they don´t belong together...oh, well!



the story: my daughter is a rockstar! she loves to sing and dance. and the singstar is the best right now! she put on such shows, i tell you :)

the goods:. My Minds Eye`s die cut was just perfect for this and so was that scenic route die. that awsome journaling tag was sent to me by karine! i love them, karine!



the story: politics is nothing for me, i find it confusing, but i know that what we need is peace, now! everywhere, for you, for me, for them, for us!

the goods: super simple, but i have never measured so much on a page before haha! i printed the peace on my computer (it is the font diesel from here.)i like the print out :) the other peace is rub-ons from a big pack of alphabet rub-ons from creative café.

well, i sure do hope that you like lists as much as me, because this will be a

30 things i want to remember right now:

1. how unbelievebly nice it is to sleep in

new beginnings
- i guess it is the new year, but i have been thinking alot on new projects and what i will do this year in the crafting area. it feels like a clean plate a tabula rasa.

KOTM-project 365

- this seems to be such a neat kit. i didn´t make an eddort to get one, but i am surely inspired by it and it will be a thrill to see what other people make with it!

calendars/planners
- i love planners and calendars and are always on the look out for the most perfect one!
- i have seen a few projects using planners or calendars. for example i stumbled over danelle johnsons project!

the color blue
- it was my favorite color for a very long time, but as i don´t look good in blue i rarely bought anything blue for wearables or to my home.
- but these photos makes me so very happy inside.

digital scrapbooking
- i do love paper and glue and would never make the switch over to digital but i have been looking at layouts in the digi gallery and i am really drawn to the lay-outs of some of the layouts :)
they are often really graphic and clean.

i have 2 layouts to share!
this first one uses a photo that i took during a long winterwalk with the dogs and my daughter. it was a lovely cold and crisp sunny winterday and it was so nice to just sit and rest by the water.



i saw a great layout, but for the love of god i can´t remember where. anyway the title was "do you know how proud i am of you.." or something like that. i used one of the most recent photos of my daughter. i am thinking of making one like this but with my husband!



and i am so proud of our new couch :) i love it i love it i love it :)



and, so i move on to the little giveaway of todays post! as you know i have been doing small things for our enviroment for a while now. i am a firm believer of doing small things since you really can´t do everything. my latest project was to use my scrap cotton yarn to crochet dishcloths. it is such an easy task. all you need to know is to make regular crochet! i use them in the bathroom, in the kitchen and as to wipe other things around the house. the one in the kitchen i throw in the washing machine everyother day or so to get rid of any germs.



as i said, they are very easy to do, but i am still going to give away three to one of you! just because i really do love giveaways :)

as i had the day of today i:

♥ washed 4 loads of laundry including the bed sheets + put away everything and made the beds
♥ did the dishes
♥ took a long walk with sadie
♥ made some tidy-ups around the house
♥ planned some new craft projects
...and scrapbooked!

i made a double 11*8,5 layout! i think it turned out pretty cool ;) i printed out some random questions about me and handwrote the answers. i still have to write a few!


this is a photo i took at mcdonalds a friday night when me, my daugter and my father were out and about. i love our trips to...anywhere!



my husband is terrified of horses, but since our daughter started taking riding lessons this fall he has come a long way with his fear!



and yet another layout recording my daughter. gosh! sometimes i think that she must be the most well documented kid on earth! well, she is my only one :)

hello 2009

so, it is done, another year has been lived. my last year as a "20 something". i will be 30 in february. i have been thinking about how this year will be lived by me...will i just go on in the same pace or will i change something. naturally (i think) the new year is a great place and time for changes, but i really don´t want to make any resolutions, since i really don´t want to kid anyone about trying to keep any of them. i never do! instead i am going to think about what i look forward to and hope for 2009. i am still working on that list, but my word inspired by ali is chosen:



i think that the word play has so many meanings (there were 36 definitions!). i need to lighten up, be silly and live a little! aka play !

i am also thinking about making "30-lists" like 30 things i love, 30 songs i like etc. and i have already started my " 30 things to do before i turn 31" list ala hulaseventy! i will post it when i finish it!

the first day of 2009 was spend mostly on the couch watching a "friends" marathon i had great company though :)



i also cleaned away the christmas stuff.



i have cleaned of my inspiration board and will be adding stuff to it this week. it is refreshing!
