I know that the picture above is a bit crocked, but everything is straight in real life!

I made this layout with my December kit from Cocoa Daisy. I have been a subscriber of their main kit for a couple of months and I love getting them each month. In the December kit there were some wood veneers that I have been using frequently ever since I got them. 

Our bedroom is one of my favorite places in our house. I have always wanted a calm and decluttered bedroom and now we have that! I snapped this photo one weekend morning after we had breakfast in bed, all three of us :)  I did a mistake and printed two copies of the photo when I was printing for my Project Life album, so I thought why not do a layout with the other one! 

That stamp and the striped paper were two of my favorites from that kit!

Lists with friends 2014 | List 2 - Things I´ve learned in 2013

(A few) Things I learned in 2013:

* If you, just in case, put a couple of extra (say 10!) seeds in when you start the garden season count on that every seed become a huge plant! We put a few extra tomato seeds because we were afraid that some wouldn't survive. Well after a few weeks we had like 20 proud plants! They gave us tomatos until late October!

* If you do little work every day it doesn´t feel like an impossible task to get the backyard prepared for the summer.

* Coffee and breakfast in bed is infact as special every day as if you´d have it on just a few occasions.

* It helps so much to have someone that is your biggest fan! I can´t begin to explain how my fiancé has boosted my selfconfidence!

* I still love to find beauty in the everyday.

* Even if the water is cold, you should still take a swim. It is so worth it!

 I have many, many boards full of inspiration on Pinterest, and thought why not use that. So may I present the Moodboard Inspiration challenge! Each month I am putting together a moodboard using different things I have pinned and then I can just create layouts using the Moodboard as inspiration!

Project Life 2014 | Week 1

Here we go again! This is going to be my third year documenting our life this way! I am super happy about that! This week started out with a lot of relaxing and just enjoying our days off together. My daughter spend New Years with her father and little brother. She is good at sending me photos (even though I might send her a reminder sometimes!) and I love to include her adventures too! 

The next photos are from New Years that we spend at my sisters having a great time. 

The cards that have photos on this page have the backside of my title page and I liked how I could use them! 

The weekly card is one from a pdf I bought at this etsy shop.  And the 2 filler cards are from Project Life the Kraft edition.

I used screen prints from 2 text messages with my daughter. I love that we keep in touch when she is not with me. And what an easy way to just add them right in!
I also used one of the title cards from the BPC class December Duos that I took last month.
This week my typewriter suddenly decided that it would indeed work again, so I was happy to write some journling with it and also added some type to a few labels. A tip for typing on labels:

Cut your label out (if it is a printable) and add it to a note paper with non permanent tape, that way it is easier to handle it in the typewriter!

New project | Moodboard Inspiration

This is my new year long scrapbooking project. Since I have used my older pages as inspiration for the last two years for my monthly scrapbooking challenge, I knew that I needed some other inspiration. So I turned to the trusted Pinterest! I have many, many boards full of inspiration on Pinterest, and thought why not use that. So may I present the Moodboard Inspiration challenge! Each month I am putting together a moodboard using different things I have pinned and then I can just create layouts using the Moodboard as inspiration! I am excited to start! I will be back tomorrow with the moodboard for January! Yay!

Our big news!

Finally this post is coming and I write about our big news! On December 24th in the midst of 15 adults and kids in a 3 room apartment, after the gifts were opened and papers were everywhere we got engaged! I know, I know I have just come out of a messy relationship and it is soon and all that, but it feels so very right. And I decided about 11 months ago, that I just want to spend the rest of my laughing, and boy do I laugh with this guy! It is one of my favorite things about him, that he always makes me laugh! 

We spend a few days deciding on how our rings would look and when he got them (I didn´t see them before the 24th) he was so happy about how they turned out! I love my ring too!

Now, traditionally a wedding would be within the year, but we have not at all set a date. We also have a teenage girl to take into concideration ofcourse! For now we are happy and content. 

I (and he) would like to say a warm thank you to all those congratulations and love that has been send our way through texts, emails and on social media! Thank you!

A list of right now´s 

Right now I am back at work after Christmas break. It feels strange to be back after being away for almost 2 weeks, but nice too. I don´t however like early rise in the mornings!

Right now I am writing multiple blog posts that are going up in the next weeks. I like it when I get air under my wings and get some things done!

Right now I love coming home. I love how our home is warm and feels welcoming. We always have lots of candles burning and there is usually soft music on in the background.

Right now I am planning a trip to the city to pick up my daughter. She spend New Year´s with her dad and her little brother. We are also going on our first date that I talked about in this post! I am excited!

Right now I really want to lock myself in my craftroom, but have no mojo :( I know it will come back soon, but wonder why it keeps going and coming.

Right now we keep watching Americas Funniest Homevideos and still think it is hilarious! 

Right now I am looking forward to a three day weekend!
