the simple things #30

this is a photo i took yesterday while waiting for the bride of the wedding that i photographed. i felt giddy to have this vintage 50s skirt on :)

scrapping the last photo

my wcs friend angie lucas wrote a beautiful blog post on memorial day about scrapping your memories of someone you have lost. i knew there and then that i needed to get that last photo of my friend linda scrapped. 

i met her at the hospital about a week before she passed and i am so happy that i did...

i knew i wanted to scrap this, i just hadn´t gotten the kick to do it before, thank you angie! 

full of life

today i am shooting my first wedding for the season and the weather is perfect! but i did some layouts yesterday that i wanted to share with you! 

i started out with the green patterned paper background for this. then i added the happy masking tape to the right side, but it came out all crocked so i wanted to pick the tape of...not a good idea because the pattern got ripped...hm....i thought why not? so i used the tape to add the chipped paint effect to more areas of the paper :) 

when i looked at it, my mind picked out this blog post from kelly rae roberts where she shows her babys room. if you look carefully you´ll see that the wallpaper it ripped/chipped...tada! 

first up, yes i will use those photos forever thank you very much :) 

i love this photo of my daughter and it represent her so very much as she is so full of life. i acctually busted out my creative sissors for this  :) and used my new layered Elle studio stuff here.

I decided to be inspired by something on my tumblr. It ended up being this happy photo! I thought about my dog Dixon the first thing, because if his pawprint would be anything else, it would be hearts because he is just full of love!

lucky lucky me

mothers day was this past sunday in sweden and i made this layout on that day. 

the sentiment is from a digital kit called spring cut ups from designer digitals. there are so many good frases there! 

i printed out one of cathy zielskes digital elements on white cardstock and made my layout around that, easy! 

if someone is waiting on a project life in may update, it will come later this week. we are going out of town for a few days and there are a few other posts until i´ll be back.
