2 layouts

i wanted to share a few new layouts that i made a few weeks ago. i have resisted that paint splatter trend forever, but i sure adds umph to a page, doesn´t it?! on the above layout (which is about melvin being a little constable with his friends always telling them to calm down!) i also handstitched the title alá amy tangerine! 

on this layout i embraced my inner marcy penner :) with the smaller photo and cute bits and pieces! my daughter got a new cell phone a while back and she has been obsessed with it since!

*drumroll please* grand opening!

i have been working very hard on re-opening my etsy shop for a couple of weeks now. it is going to be slightly different beause there is almost always going to be a crafty blog post connected to the items in the shop. think from pin to reality TO shop! yes, i´ll make a craft and you can either buy a kit to make that craft yourself or the actual craft. sound fun, no?! 

what do you think, should we say that today is the grand(re)opening day!

how can you resist these leaves?! well, i couldn´t :)

i bought some felt in fallish colors and cut out some leaves. 

and infront of some greys anatomy re-runs i handstitched them and added a string so they where gathered into a fall banner! 

it turned out super cute! so cute that i have already listed another one just like this in the shop! 

now, go ahead and add this cutie to your fall decor!

i took some of the remaining photos i took during my trip to washington dc on vacation. i actually made a few pages! i used this technique a fun and easy way to add something to your titles.

i couldn´t get a good shot of this 2 pager, but you get the picture. arlington was my very favorite! apperently i am into half circles ;)

Happy september! again, how on earth can it be a new month already?!!

what always makes me happy on the first of each month is that there is a new gallery at Write Click Scrapbook! 

for the month of september we were asked to create something that had to do with books. yeah, i know i love that theme as i am a real bookworm! i simply created a layout that states a quote that i love:
