I often take my camera out for walks when I am feeling down and I always find things that makes me happy and they become my comfort. Or is it really the photography part?!

And this is a photo I snapped with my iPhone (I sure do love that thing!) of tulips on the breakfast table. They make me super happy!

More sharpie + mugs

Did you see my Valentine´s day mug? Well, I have made a few more mugs that I thought I´d show you.

Ok, I love hearts...don´t judge :)

It is super tricky to write inside the mug ;)

I really think you should give this a go, maybe make it a weekend project?! It is superfun and easy!

From Pin to reality | crochet hearts

This next one I did a while ago, but haven´t shown yet. I was looking for a good and easy heart pattern to crochet and found that making them in 3 different pieces was the easiest.

When I had finished I didn´t know what I wanted to use them for, so first they layed in a wooden bowl as decoration. And then I did a mini photoshoot showing the Valentines mug I posted about yesterday, and thought I´d put them all on sticks to have as a bunch for Valentines day.

Just a happy flock aren´t they!

I have had these kinds of pins in my Crafts board forever and I have been putting of doing them. Then when Valentines day is coming up, I thought what the heck!

 

I have made a few different designs (will show the others in another post), but the one I want to show today is this one below.

 

I made this mug for my daughter to give her on Valentines day. The "title" is Small things I love about you.

One thing I learned making this is that it is much harder to write nicely on a my than on a paper :) But it will do.

 

On the other side and around, I wrote You are kindhearted, you are helpful etc. I chose to highlight the adjectives with a red sharpie. I don´t know if this happens with all sorts of color, but after I had baked the mug, the red turned a bit darker. I put them in a preheated oven at 350 degrees Farenheit (178 degrees Celicius) for about 30 minutes. I have seen a few posts saying that this will not make them dishwasher safe, but as I know that I will just handwash them :)

 

 

I think it turned out cute! And what an easy craft for all to make! I already have plans for when my neices and nephew is coming later this month :)

 

Project Life | week 5

Here is my spread for week 5. At the bottom of the post I have listed the products!

I had one insert for this week, but it doesn´t show on the spread photo above.

The stories from page one:

Planning the week + signing the divorce papers.

Happy washi mail (getting some washi love) + the craft of the week from this post.

I went thrifting with my father (as per usual) + my breakfast spot got ready + i journaled abit about how I love that my daughter has a best friend.

The frontpage of the insert holds the story of me being on my own for the first time in my life; paying bills and grocery planning by myself. Yay me!

The back side of the insert holds misc Instagram photos from the week.

Page two:

We had a great big puddle at work and I felt so in love with my job this week + great walks this week with sunshine. 

Melvin was pampered by his favorite people, the neighbours when we had dinner with them + he laid out in the sunshine which he also loves.

The weekend was spend apart; my daughter in Gothenburg with her father and me being home with a loved friend, sunshine, dinners and great conversation.

I blurred a few places for privacy.

Re-Scrap 2013 | February inspiration pages

 I love when a page just comes to you without any hardship! I have done a few of these "right now" kind of pages about the pets throughout the years and I love to have them in my albums.
