ok, don´t get me started with this one!

if you don´t get why i love this, you have no heart!

i have an ongoing love affair with librarys and bookstores, so this was a given!

man, our kitchen doesn´t even hold a table. not that it is small or anything, but because of really bad planning from the builders (1968). i so wish for an inviting kitchen, where we could gather.

someday i will have a nighttime garden party and i am going to love every second of it!

and because i am a 31 year old who LOVES to splash in puddles :)

i can go on forever, but i am not.

odds and ends

this is going to be a random things post of odds and ends. stuff i haven´t shared and such :)

i LOVED to watch my girl catching butterflies the other week. the most i loved her outfit :)

very stylish, eh?!

she did good and caught a few. sally, also loved this game ;)

and how cute is this little guy?! our neighbours found him beside his mom that was killed. they had him for a couple of weeks just to get him going again.

i took this above photo this weekend during a forest walk with the dogs and my husband. it was a lovely night and the light over the lake was fantastic. this was also the photo i used in the "nature" challenge for shimelles weekend crop this past weekend.

the circle has my husbands and daughters names on it.

and it is hard to see in this photo, but there is a plate ontop that says peace and love.

and then i added stuff that i like alot.

random life things

yesterday i made a phonecall to the oncologist since i have had more pain in my breast and the redness has spread. i was happy to find out that i got an appointment today.

but, i must say that i am a bit disappointed with the doctor. i am sure that he is one of the best doctors to ecess my sympthoms, but i was in there for a total of 2 minutes and he just said that it wasn´t something to worry about...

but it hurts i said, as to he said well, i think it is because you are worried and stressed about the situation.

what? i really felt like he didn´t understood my pain. and the redness, he said was probably something just on the skin...

i felt like a questionmark when i walked out from there...

my husband said, well look on the bright side; he did say it wasn´t anything to worry about, nothing serious.

but i am not comforted by that actually.

on monday i´ll have a mamogram and another appointment and i hope to have more answers. because i feel that something is up, i feel pain, a lump and the redness is out of the ordinary. maybe it is nothing as serious as cancer, but something is definitely up.

i really feel that i am standing at a crossroad, do you know what i mean?

scrapbooking with a sketch

first, i am soooo bad at following sketches! i like having them and always think i will use them alot, but then never do :(

so for this sketch challenge from shimelle i had this sketch to be inspired from:

i looked through my stash and didn´t find anything scalloped that i wanted to use, so instead i went to my sewing machine :)

scrapbooking with squares

ok, so i did a little twist on the square challenge because first i thought i would use patterned paper for this. but then i was looking for photos for the layout and saw my blogheader in my folder i was looking in. so i decided to use that and cut the photos out in squares. the page is about what summer 2010 was like:

scrapbooking with at least a little pink

ok i was thinking at lot on "a little pink" for this challenge :) when i started the layout i was going to use a lot of pink things, but then it ended up with a more subtle pink tone.

the layout is about the photo in it. i shared this photo a while ago and named it "happiness in a jar" and it has been stared and tumblred (i made up a new word i think!) a bunch of times! it makes me happy and i hope that those people that have liked it felt happiness too!

scrapbooking with hearts

well, this challenge was not hard for me at all, since i use hearts on my layouts and projects all the time!

i took this photo of a small vase with yellow flowers i picked from my garden this past week, when i needed a mood boost :) and so i made a layout featuring my love for yellow ♥

and ofcourse i was happy when i realized that i took the photo of the layout with my yellow wall in the background :)
