i don´t know if it was the fact that it was NSD this weekend or that i had some burst of inspiration in general, but i managed to crack out some layouts! so here we go!
the story: we celebrated 7 years of marriage this week. and we did that just the way we wanted = a family walk through the forest.
the goods: i don´t usually use a patterned paper as a background, but i felt inspired :) this paper comes from a kit from a swedish store called Åhléns. i cut it out so that it would barely cover the black paper. punched hearts in the holes at the bottom. i then used my american crafts foam thickers for the numbers 1-7 and added some "mel-butterflies". when i got to this point i didn´t want to use any journaling tags or such so i simply added my small journaling in one of the circles in the patterned paper.
the story: this year i have gotten lots of comfort in working in my garden. i wanted to record how good it makes me feel.
the goods: the patterned paper is from amy butlers paper stack. i punched a heart at the bottom and used the hearts other side to bring out more of the blue in the paper. tied a bow with some sheer ribbon and journaled on my typewriter and added the "majblomma" and the american crafts bird.
the story: during our forest walk last week we picked flowers, which is a lovely way to spend 15 minutes by the way. and i loved that my daughter enjoys it too.
the goods: the yellow paper is from a SIS collection and the other strip of paper is from a amy butler paper pack. i used a label from a 2peas digital kit which i cut out the middle from and adhered with some foam stickers over my journaling. making memories does the letter stickers and there is another "mel-butterfly".
the story: ehm, well although my Sally isn´t quite as crazy as to find funny places to sleep as this cat :) she does show up in some cool places. this day she used a plant in my garden as a jungle hideout!
the goods: oh, i used a fun and very cool digital mask by erica hernandez called wonky photo mask. and i am happy to admit that i printed the acctual mask out in greyscale and then handcut the photo and patterned paper into the wonky shapes because i didn´t know how to use mask in Photoshop :) now i do! the patterned paper was a scrap i have had like forever which i obviously forgot who made. the chipboard flower is from american crafts.
the story: just a welcome page to spring!
the goods: wow another patterned paper background :) the bloom tag is from a digital kit and the label is from the same label kit as described above. the smile tag is from scenic route and i used my old label maker for the journaling.
